Death
Death Limericks
There was a young fellow named Clyde
Who fell down a dunny and died
Along came his brother,
Who fell down another
And now they're interred side by side!
There was a young person named Ned,
Who dined before going to bed,
On lobster and ham
And salad and jam,
And when he awoke he was dead.
There was an old man in a hearse,
Who murmured, "This might have been worse;
Of course the expense
Is simply immense,
But it doesn't come out of my purse."
My father he fills me with dread
When he sits on the foot of my bed;
I don't mind that he speaks
In gibbers & squeaks
But for seventeen years he's been dead
